In the interest of full disclosure, I’m not and never did get any kickback from for doing this interview though I did get an examination copy of its speed reading software (and perhaps some of their other programs, such as typing and spelling, though my memory on this has become fuzzy). Nonetheless, I thought it worth resurrecting this interview because it offers valuable lessons and insights and because my longstanding interest in speed reading remains unabated. I did this interview with Marc for an educational website back in 2015, but that interview disappeared from that site a long time ago. This interview focuses on eReflect’s reading software, 7SpeedReading. Marc’s team has developed software to improve students’ vocabulary, spelling, typing, and reading. Marc Slater is an entrepreneur, a computer programmer, and the CEO of eReflect, which makes software packages to help students improve their study skills.
